First of all I want to apologize to everyone for how long it's taken me to update. I haven't forgotten about any of you! I miss you all alot! It's just that I really wanted to make a really cool post for my first few weeks in college. Ha Ha, and I thought I would have time. LOL Hopefully the pictures will kind of give you an idea of what it's like here. The most amazing thing that sticks out to me about Arkansas (even still) is how green it is and how many trees there are. The rain here is... kind of warm and soft. Nothing like the torrential, piercing, flash flood rain that we get once every ten years in Nevada. (Don't get me wrong, I love everything about Nevada.) It's really not such a big thing when it rains, its just kind of a part of life. (Water, whoa who would think?)

(Water Fight!)

(Kayakers!?!)
Next I want to thank everyone for being such blessings to me. All of your notes on xanga and e-mails etc. have been really encouraging. I remember praying to God asking for friends, and I have been so, so blessed. I can hardly even keep up with all of you, God is so faithful! There are friends here in Arkansas, in West Virginia/ Virginia and of course in Nevada. Not to mention everywhere else.

(Here's Risti and I walking around in the rain and then Kara that next Sunday, who took the picture.)
It's kind of funny, I came to college thinking that I would know more afterward, but it only seems like I'm learning how little I actually know. This world is so huge, there are so many different and unique (and very gifted) people in it, and God is so much bigger and more awesome than I can ever, even begin to comprehend. It's amazing how day in and day out this is proved to me over and over.

Another thing I'm learning is that there is never enough time in the day, so you have to make time. There are deadlines and commitments and sometimes you have to stay up late, really late.The alarm goes off at 7:00 and Ol' Boy it's time to be awake even if you stayed up till 2:00 the night before cramming for that test this morning. Overall I guess I'd say that college is a real challenge, one that I feel really blessed to be apart of. It's an invigorating process for stimulating growth, by pushing you beyond what you think your capable. Most importantly I'm forced to push myself and to rely on God so that I don't get too stressed out. It's such a challenge and I love it!
Psalm 8 (NASB)
1O LORD, our Lord,
How majestic is Your name in all the earth,
Who have displayed Your splendor above the heavens!
2From the mouth of infants and nursing babes You have established strength
Because of Your adversaries,
To make the enemy and the revengeful cease.
3When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers,
The moon and the stars, which You have ordained;
4What is man that You take thought of him,
And the son of man that You care for him?
5Yet You have made him a little lower than God,
And You crown him with glory and majesty!
6You make him to rule over the works of Your hands;
You have put all things under his feet,
7All sheep and oxen,
And also the beasts of the field,
8The birds of the heavens and the fish of the sea,
Whatever passes through the paths of the seas.
9O LORD, our Lord,
How majestic is Your name in all the earth!

I'll put a slide show with a whole bunch of pictures for you guys. Thankyou all so much for all of your love and support. You guys are such a blessing to me.
P.S. Could you please pray for a friend of mine, Caitlyn? She lost her brother a few months ago and is struggling.
